School Clubs
Education takes on many forms at Mizzentop Day School, both in the classroom and beyond. Mizzentop students engage in a variety of activities, including performing arts, athletics, clubs, and community service.
Mizzentop Day School offers clubs and activities that meet during the school day, before, or after school. Some of the clubs are seasonal.
Student Council - Middle School meets bi-weekly to discuss and vote upon current issues and upcoming events.
Chess Club - Lower and Middle School meet during lunch.
Gardening Club - Lower and Middle School meet after school (seasonal).
Knitting Club - Lower and Middle School meet before school.
Rock Ensemble - Middle School meets before school.
Run for Fun - 4th Grade meets after school, weather permitting (seasonal).
Odyssey of the Mind - Encourages creativy, innovation and outside the box thinking. Ages vary from 3rd - 5th Grades.
Math Counts - Math enrichment for 5th - 8th Grades.
Homework Club - Additional homework help after school for 1st - 4th Grades.
Book Club - Middle School student and parents meet in the evening to read and discuss selected books and literature.
Student Ambassadors - 7th & 8th Grade students must apply for this program, and maintain a B average. These students guide prospective families on tours of the school at Open House events. They also help with the daily arrival of pre-school students.
